1-Week Monk Mode Retreats in Spain

We humans let ourselves go, - and then pick ourselves up.

One day we are invisible to others, the next day we are George Clooney.

One day our family waves you out, knowing you as a lovely insecure, clumsy, unfit person, - and then they see you again, and are surprised by your glow, ease by which you carry yourself, filled with plans for the future.

In between these 2 moments, sits a time of "MONK MODE".
Personally I do intermittently: every other month. But everyone is different.

I call this mountain "THE PHARAOH".
You can walk forever, in between the lovely villages of Guaro, Tolox, Alozaina, - and several more. The air is pure, as is the water of the little mountain streams.
YOUR LAST CHALLENGE: we go to its peak.
Should you be a seasoned hiker: oh, there are plenty of challenges all around.

What is "Monk Mode"?

Monk Mode is a reset.
A period of discipline and health, to replace bad habits by good ones,
and to focus on a goal.
In our case, this will be one week, together.
In my mountain village in inland Málaga.

Habits are but that: habits. They turn into comfort zone, and then into addictions.

We humans are very, very prone to addictions. We can get addicted to to just about anything, from junk food or endless clicking on TikTok videos, to going to the Gym.

During MONK MODE we get rid of all damaging, unhealthy or useless addictions (calories, dopamine, laziness, cluttering, you name it), and replace them by healthy habits. All distractions have got to go, so that you can utterly focus on one mission or goal.

That one goal can be: your connection with God, or with Nature, or work on your physical well being or appearance, or to finally write that book, or that perfect Business Plan, or that future dream.
For you will also be replacing that habit of doing hundreds of things but actually nothing... by working towards / achieving ONE GREAT THING.

Why join ME?

Because I know all too well, how difficult or demotivating things can be when you are on your own, in your own environment.
We so often would like to have a peer, companion, if not a PERSONAL TRAINER who gets you out of bed and says "come, we go for a walk", "it's time for a healthy snack", and so on. A coach who WISHES to wave you out as a radiant new person.

Where?

In the hidden mountain village of Tolox,
in the heart of a Natural Park: nature, trails, mountains and mountain streams all around you, just as tiny shops and bars, and a gym - perfect for both Monk Mode and Spanish Language Immersion.
